A gastronomic journey through the history, customs, recipes, and products of the Balearic Islands

Located in a historic enclave, in Sa Calatrava, a few meters from the cathedral of Palma de Mallorca and close to the sea, is DINS Santi Taura, awarded the Michelin star in the 2021 guide and holder of two Repsol Suns.

DINS restaurant represents the highest form of gastronomic expression of Santi Taura, one of the most renowned local chefs offering a unique gastronomic experience inspired by the traditional cuisine of the islands and prepared with locally sourced seasonal ingredients.

Diners will have the chance to interact with Santi and his team at the chef counter, watching each dish being prepared, or enjoy a more intimate atmosphere at the restaurant’s tables. The chef himself personally serves and explains the ORIGENS tasting menu accompanied by its optional harmonies.

DINS shares a building with the hotel El Llorenç Parc de la Mar, in the mestizo neighborhood of Calatrava, which has a centuries-old culture, located in the heart of Palma’s old town walls and whose streets are home to most of Mallorca’s history, the perfect location for your proposal.

Craftsmanship

As a curiosity, Santi Taura works so hard that he creates the dishes where the food is served, completely handmade in an artisan way. Santi is always at the restaurant DINS Santi Taura during its opening hours, there is not a day that the restaurant is open without him explaining each of the dishes.
