Club Med Magna Marbella, a new luxury resort on the Costa del Sol, will open its doors next spring 2022, following an agreement between Club Med and Magna Hotels and Resorts. The establishment will be located in the natural surroundings of Sierra Blanca, with rooms distributed in a nine-storey building in the shape of a helix, with views over the sea, the mountains and the city. It will have large gardens, five swimming pools, as well as a wide range of leisure and activities for children.

In a complicated economic environment for the tourism sector, which is seeking to emerge from the crisis caused by the coronavirus pandemic, which completely halted the arrival of international tourism to Spain, Club Med and Magna Hotels and Resorts are making a firm commitment with the opening scheduled for 14 May 2022 of a new all-inclusive luxury resort located in Sierra Blanca, on the Costa del Sol.

The new Club Med Magna Marbella will be located on 14 hectares of gardens, a nine-storey building in the shape of a helix, and will have five swimming pools, which include areas as different as a family playground with water games or a ‘zen’ area for adults only. In addition, there will be a gastronomic offer with two restaurants open 24 hours a day and three themed bars.

There will also be 10 tennis courts and six paddle tennis courts within the enclosure, and a wide range of leisure activities for children, with children’s clubs for ages between 4 months and 17 years. The ‘Family Fun Zone’ will have water games, a children’s playground and mini-golf, and other options such as mini-golf, archery, zip-lining, etc. Adults will have a wellness area with 14 treatment rooms, including a relaxation room and steam bath, as well as spa treatments.
