Fera A Fashionable venue offering sophisticated Mediterranean-Asian fusion

FERA is hidden off the cobbled streets in the centre of Palma in a restored mansion in the old part of town close to the busy Jaime III.

Three partners, Ivan and Sheela Levy and chef Simon Petutschnig, created one of the city’s most exciting dining venues in 2017.

Customers enter FERA through its cobbled courtyard, surrounded by sculptures and greenery. From here, they can choose between the warm main dining room or, if you prefer a more intimate experience, the library, decorated in black and white tones, is also perfect for private events for up to 16 people. The absolute jewel is FERA’s garden which seats up to 45 guest. A true oasis of lush green, art and serenity in the middle of this cosmopolitan city,

A “sensory orchestra” led by Austrian chef Simon Petutschnig, who seamlessly combines Mediterranean and Asian flavours to create what he calls “Mediterranean cuisine without borders”.

Simon brings together the heat and passion of the Mediterranean with the soul of Asia.

Before joining FERA as Executive Chef and partner the Carinthian from the village of Eberstein in Austria, Petutchnig has worked with several star chefs- Paco Pérez in the Miramar restaurant (**),also in the “Alkimia” with Jordi Vilà (*) or as executive chef of the Hotel Sant Francesco.

The chef uses the best raw material and fusing it with local ingredients to taste them in the different menus or the à la carte options. In this one, unique options such as Wagyu beef, a jewel of Japan raised in Teruel or its variety in biodynamic oils Demeter, or a huge variety of wine- both from Son Naava-among other unique products in FERA.

Xavier Donnay- Best pastry chef in the world- according Best Chef Awards 2020- coordinates the sweet menu in Fera. Recipes and technique resulting in an amazing array of contemporary and innovative desserts. Accompany them with Difference Coffee’s- award-winning varieties, exclusive to the island and available only in the world’s finest restaurants – will close the gastronomic experience.

An impressive collection of art including sculptures, photographs, paintings and installations with neutral tones and minimalist furniture, art takes centre stage, maintaining the charm of the building that houses the 150 year old social club Círculo Mallorquín.

Fera is, undoubtedly , a feast for all the senses.
